Charge Sister Anna Ada Hutchinson entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 10 September 1914. The ‘Lady Doctors’ Hospital’ may be identified as that run by Dr Flora Murray’s contingent at Claridge’s, Paris - which was staffed entirely by women. With some copied research. Belgian decoration not confirmed.
This lot was sold as part of a special collection, Awards to the Medical Services from the Collection of the late Tony Sabell.
