James Gill Hill, M.B., Ch.B. 1912. Appointed a Lieutenant in the R.A.M.C. in March 1915. Promoted to Captain in September 1915; Major in December 1918 and Lieutenant-Colonel in January 1919. Served with the 2nd Northern Field Ambulance and 35th General Hospital, Calais. Awarded the M.C. in December 1918. Other officers with this name and initials possible. With copied m.i.c. and some service details.

Thomas Colley was born in December 1894. He was educated at the Universities of Manchester and Edinburgh and gained the M.B., Ch.B, M.R.C.S. (Eng), L.R.C.P. (Lond.) 1918. Appointed a Lieutenant in the R.A.M.C. Special Reserve, 3 October 1918. Entered Salonika in November 1918. Gained the Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery in 1923. Later became an Ophthalmic Consultant in Dorset. With a quantity of copied research.

Joseph Brown was the son of James and Jane Brown, of 202 Morningside Road, Edinburgh. Serving with the 1st/3rd Lowland Field Ambulance, he was killed in action, Gallipoli, 14 July 1915, aged 30 years.
