Magnis Henderson was born in Duncan, British Columbia, on 26 November 1897. A Student by occupation, and having served two years as an officer in the cadets, he enlisted into the 103rd Battalion at Duncan in December 1915. Arriving in England in July 1916, he transferred to the C.F.A. that October, and served in France with 17th Battery, 5th Brigade and the 2nd Trench Mortar Battery, C.F.A. Awarded the M.M., he was discharged in May 1919 and died in March 1943; sold with copied service papers.
