John Rhoden was born in St. Helens, Lancashire. Enlisting in No. 10 Draft, C.A.M.C., at Saskatoon in March 1916, he was embarked for England that August, where he served for the remainder of the War. Latterly suffering from nephritis and chronic bronchitis he was invalided to Canada and discharged due to sickness in July 1919. He died at Saskatoon in January 1926; sold with copied obituary and service papers.
