Harold Joseph Hogg was born in Nottingham, England, on 23 January 1889. Enlisting in the 52nd (New Ontario) Battalion at Regina in July 1915, he was killed in action on 16 September 1916 during the battle of Courcelette. Buried in the British Courcelette Cemetery on the Somme, France, he was the son of Henry and Rose Hogg, of Lovat Station, Saskatchewan; sold with copied service papers.
