Volunteer Force Long Service (2), V.R. (5085 Pte. P. K. Dodd, 2nd V.B. K. Lpool. Regt.) engraved naming; another, unnamed; with Army Rifle Association Medals (7) bronze bearing the dates, 1889, 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1901, 1902; National Rifle Association Medal, bronze, with brooch bar, ‘N.R.A. 1889’; National Rifle Association Silver Shield, Kolapore Shield 1895; International Volunteer Match Medal 1889, with silver buckle on tartan ribbon; L.T.C. Cross 1889, silver and enamel, with ‘Lancashire’ brooch bar; with 45 cloth and bullion badges commemorating shooting events - Lancashire, Liverpool Rifle Brigade, Cheshire, Bisley, Kolapore, Scottish Rifle Association. National Rifle Association, all displayed in a 78.5 x 71cm. wooden glass-fronted frame, an attractive display, good very fine and better (lot) £300-400

The collection is ascribed to Private P. H. Dodd, 2nd Volunteer Battalion Liverpool Regiment. It is believed the unnamed Volunteer Force Long Service Medal was included for display purposes.
