5268 Bugler E. Bainbridge, 1st Battalion Durham Light Infantry was wounded at Vaal Krantz, 6 February 1900. The published casualty roll gives his initial as ‘R’. With copied roll extracts showing entitlement to the clasps for ‘Cape Colony’. ‘Relief of Ladysmith’ and ‘South Africa 1902’.
