Zeppelin relic: napkin ring, zinc, inscribed, ‘Zep. L.33 Essex 24th 9.16’; Berkshire Army Cadet Force Reading Area March Medal, bronze, unnamed, with brooch bar; R.M.P. and City of Chichester March Medal, silver base metal, unnamed, with ‘1989’ brooch bar; L.C.C. School Attendance Medal, G.V.R. (D. Chapman), bar 1919-20 and brooch bar; other items including: British miniature medals (6); ‘1897’ bar; buttons (7); ‘C.I.V.’ Pipe bowl in the likeness of Lord Roberts?; Plaque: ‘339 Plant Park Sqn. Private James Kay Whitham served in the 1/6th Battalion Manchester Regiment. Entered the Balkan theatre of war on 5 May 1915. Discharged 28 March 1919. With copied m.i.c. and roll extracts.
