Cecil Edward Harris was born in Chiswick, Middlesex to Frederick James and Emily Elizabeth Harris on 20 April 1899. Served in the 13th (Service) Battalion K.R.R.C. and the 2nd Battalion London Regiment. Married Ivy Winifred Alice Drake at Brighton in 1932. He died at Gosport, Hampshire on 26 May 1967.

With certificate of award for the Nieuwpoort, Diksmuide & Ieper Medal named to Cecil Edward Harris of the 13th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps, 3rd Brigade, 37th Division. Together with certificates named to Harris for the King Albert Veteran’s Cross, the Confederation of European Veteran’s Cross (damaged and repaired), the Nieuwpoort Anniversary Medal and for the Ieper Anniversary of 1914-64 - the certificates mounted on card.
