Tower mint, Shilling, Gp C, mm. plume, bust 3, rev. plume over shield, less ornate garniture, pellet stops both sides, 5.76g/11h (Sharp C3/5; SCBI Brooker 467, same dies; N 2222; S 2788). A piece of fine work from carefully engraved dies with guide lines within both inner and outer beaded circles, well-centred on a round flan, obverse with hairline scratches, profile, beard and ruff tooled, about fine, reverse good fine, extremely rare £400-500
