Waterloo 1815 (Corporal Thomas Greasly, Royal Artillery Drivers) with steel clip and ring suspension, edge bruising, some contact marks, very fine £1200-1400
Thomas Greasly (’Greasley’ on papers) was born near Leicester. A Butcher by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Artillery Drivers in July 1803. Served with the unit during the Waterloo Campaign. Discharged in consequence of a reduction in the Army after over 12 years service. With copied discharge papers and roll extracts.
