Frank Lewis Warren was born in Sedgeberrow, Evesham, Worcestershire and enlisted at Evesham. Serving as a Lance-Corporal in the 1st Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 6 October 1914. He was killed in action at the battle of Gheluvelt, on 30 October 1914. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Thomas and Annie Warren, of Sedgeberrow, Evesham, Worcestershire and husband of Annie Louisa Warren, of Steeple Ashton, Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
