The reverse die was intended for the halfpenny of one of Roberts’ near neighbours, Edward Usher of Mutton Lane (D 1977A; lot 116 in this catalogue). A converse mule, linking the obverse of Usher’s token with the reverse of Roberts’, is in the Museum of London (SCBI Norweb VIII)
