Andrew Harris, M.V.O., was Bandmaster of the 2nd Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment from 1900 to 1910. He subsequently served in a similar capacity for the Royal Artillery and Welsh Guards and, having served as a Bandmaster for the latter regiment in France during the Great War, ended his career as a Senior Director of Music, Brigade of Guards; sold with copied research.
