Royal Monmouth Light Infantry Militia Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate 1853 - 1855, an extremely fine and scarce example, the silver plated rectangular back plate with silver overlays comprising a multi-rayed beaded star, the crown, Prince of Wales’s crest and motto (coronet in gilt), a bugle horn and a floriate scroll ‘Royal Monmouth’ complete with two hook and two stud fasteners, slight edge knocks on three of the corners otherwise very fine condition £600-800
