George Milne does not appear on the published transcription of the medal roll. Of the names that appear on the roll starting with ‘George’ and the first two letters of the surname ‘Mi’, combined with the space left between the end of the surname and where the original full stop is placed on the medal, it is possible that the medal was originally named to ‘George Miberry’. The latter served as an Able Seaman in H.M.S. Achille at Trafalgar.
