M. J. Halliday served with the 1st (Western Ontario) Regiment, Canadian Infantry during the Great War, and died from the effects of gas on 6 November 1915. He is buried in Lockerbie (Dryfesdale) Cemetery, Dumfriesshire.

William Hoy Lawson was born in Coupar, Angus, Scotland, and served with the Royal Scots in South Africa during the Boer War; and with the 5th (Western Canadian Cavalry) Regiment, Canadian Infantry during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 22 May 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.

Archie Neville Beswick served with the 14th (Quebec) Regiment, Canadian Infantry during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 19 May 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.

Ernest John Woodgate served with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 15 September 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.

John Bertie Hambidge served with the 2nd Company, Australian Tunnelling Corps during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 14 August 1916. He is buried in ANZAC Cemetery, Sailly-sur-la-Lys, France.
