Abbas Neethling, a Moslem from Salt River, Cape Province, was born in March 1917 and served with No. 5 Company, Motor Transport, South African Forces during the Second World War in North Africa from 31 May 1941.
Marthinus Frederick Rudolph Jonker, of Durban, was born in Oudtshoorn, Cape Province, on 27 September 1925 and served with No. 10 Brigade Signal Company, South African Forces during the Second World War in the Italian theatre from 2 October 1943.
