Ernest Daniels attested for the Rifle Brigade and served with the 22nd Battalion during the Great War. He subsequently served as an Acting Sergeant with the 2nd Garrison Battalion, Liverpool Regiment.

Albert Edward Daniels was born in London, Ontario, on 24 May 1883, and served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the Great War in England (entitled to a British War Medal only). He subsequently served in 1st Squadron, Canadian Air Force.
