Errol Oswell Clark was born on 10 February 1923, and served with the South African Air Force during the Second World War as an Airman from 9 April 1942. He was discharged on 22 April 1946.

Beresford Athol Clark was born on 1 April 1925, and served with the South African Air Force during the Second World War as a Sergeant Air Gunner from 29 May 1944. He was discharged on 6 March 1946.
