Canadian Memorial Cross, G.V.R. (2) (781028 Spr. H. Buller; 114405 Pte. T. H. Large) second in case of issue, good very fine (2) £100-£140

Hamilton Buller was born in Callington, Cornwall, on 8 March 1891, and having emigrated to Canada, attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on 2 November 1915. He served with the 46th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) during the Great War, and died of wounds in England on 13 October 1919. He is buried under a C.W.G.C. headstone in Stoke Climsland Churchyard, Cornwall.

Thomas Henry Large was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, on 22 March 1890, and having emigrated to Canada, attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 9 August 1915. He served with the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles during the Great War, and died of disease in England on 28 October 1917. He is buried under a C.W.G.C. headstone in Bramshott Churchyard, Hampshire.
