A. Augustus Brown shipped bananas in the early 1900’s. He also had a general store in Port Antonio c. 1895 for about 20 years and he was an agent for the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co at Port Royal.

Samuel C. Burke owned Rhine Estate in St. Thomas in the last few years in the 19th Century
