A pair of late 19th century large diamond drop earpendants, comprising two principal cushion-shaped old-cut fancy light yellow diamonds, weighing 6.55 carats and 7.2 carats respectively, each mounted beneath an old brilliant-cut diamond surmount, all claw set in gold and silver, to hook fittings, accompanied by certification from GCS laboratory, earpendant length 29mm. £30,000-£50,000

The Gemmological Certification Services diamond report, No. 80276-74, dated 12.10.2020 confirms that the first principal diamond weighs 6.56 carats, is fancy light yellow colour and clarity VS1; the second principal diamond weighs 7.29 carats, is fancy light yellow colour and clarity SI1.

The two old brilliant-cut diamonds have also been unmounted and had verbal assessment at GCS confirming weights of 2.07 carats and 2.17 carats respectively, colour N-R, clarity VS1-2.
