Imperial German Veterans Badges.
A highly attractive beautiful quality 50mm width and height multi enamelled badge for an unidentified Veterans Association, probably Prussian Guard related. Maltese Cross with multi coloured red, white and black enamels, green enamelled outer wreath, white enamelled inner wreath with the motto ‘Fur Verdienst Und Treue’. The central plaquette again multi enamelled in black, white and gold of the Prussian eagle with the motto of the Guard Regiments ‘Suum-Cuique’ to the centre surmounted an Imperial crown with gilded crossed swords. Complete with its original pin, hook and hinge. Accompanied by a 40mm Weimar Republic Front Fighters League Honour Cross, enamelled red, white and black central shield with the letters ‘FKB 1914-18’ within the arms of the cross, with its original pin back suspension, maker marked ‘Deschler Munich’, extremely good condition (2) £180-£220
