INDIAN MUTINY 1857-58, 4 clasps, Central India, Lucknow, Relief of Lucknow, Delhi (Bombr., 1st B n. Bengal Art.) some light contact marks, otherwise toned, very fine

Confirmed on roll. The medal with 4 clasps was issued to only 1 officer and 48 O.R's, all from the 1st battalion Bengal Artillery. No other Europeans were entitled to 4 clasps. Examples were sold in the Gaskell sale 1911, £38; the Watters sale 1913, £31, and in the Tombs sale1918 for £50.
