John F. Gentry attested for the London Regiment on 1 September 1914, and served with the 13th Battalion during the Great War. He was discharged on account of sickness on 2 August 1919, and was awarded a Silver War Badge.
There are several men with the name Frank Warner listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Roll of Honour.
