Medieval, late 13th-14th century, a brass Folding Candle and Rush Holder, 9.7cm long by 5cm high, inverted cone with punched dot decoration forming a cross, with a smaller rectangular compartment at the side, stem slightly buckled so that the spike at the bottom, which has three settings, is unable to rotate. Very fine with a smooth green patina
