British Iron Age, TRINOVANTES, Early Uninscribed issues, plated Unit, Braughing dragon type, boar left, ringed pellet above and below, rev. coiled dragon, 0.89g (ABC 2282; BMC 389; Mack 445; S –). Numerous small breaks in plating with copper core showing through on obverse, otherwise about very fine and extremely rare; an unusual and numismatically interesting piece £100-£150
