Martin Hunter Hailes entered the French theatre as a Lieutenant in the Railway Transport Establishment. Sold with copied Medal Index Card which gives his address as ‘c/o Traffic Manager, Burma Rly. Co. Ltd., Rangoon, Burma’. French award not confirmed.
