Wallace Roxburgh, 49th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, was posted missing and presumed to have been killed on 9 June 1917. He was the son of Peter and Jane Roxburgh, of Kirkpatrick-Durham, Dalbeattie, Scotland, and is commemorated by name on the Vimy Memorial, France.
