Memorial Plaque (3) (Walter Garton; Reginald Bell; William John Maskell) last in card envelope, good very fine (3) £80-£100

Walter Garton (also recorded as Gartan or Garten), a native of Kingsland, London, attested for the Royal Field Artillery and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 14 October 1917; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

William John Maskell appear on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Roll of Honour: A Private in the Royal West Surrey Regiment, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 2 April 1917; and a Rifleman of the Rifle Brigade, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 20 November 1917.
