Cyril Stafford Wilson was born in Saanich, British Columbia, Canada in February 1895. He initially served during the Great War as a Driver with the 15th Brigade Ammunition Column, Canadian Field Artillery, before transferring to the 16th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery. Wilson served with the latter as part of the Archangel Command in North Russia. Wilson died in August 1979.
