The lot is sold with original certificates for the Jubilee, Coronation and ISM., this dated 29th March, 1955, and a certificate from the Palace of Westminster which reads: 'The Fire Committee of the Palace of Westminster wish to convey their sincerest thanks to Mr. F.J. Wagstaff for his valuable services on Civil Defence in the Palace of Westminster from June, 1940 to March, 1941. These services have formed an essential and most valuable branch of the general protection of this historic building of national importance against the attacks of the enemy.
