Droz, in bronzed-copper, laureate bust right, 11 leaves and 3 berries in wreath, hair curls reach almost to circumference, droz f incuse on truncation, 3 diamond stops and a flower in legend, rev. Britannia seated left on globe, legs crossed, rust patches on globe and her foot, signed dr · f · in exergue, laurel branch behind shield, quatrefoils flanking date, first numeral with die flaw across it, edge render to cesar the things which are cesars:, 16.57g/6h (BMC 971 [DH 14]; ‘Selig’ 1336). Surface marks in fields, otherwise extremely fine £240-£300
