William the Lion (1165-1214), Short Cross and Stars coinage, Phase B, Sterling, Phase B, class VI, no mint name, Walter Hue, crude bust left with sceptre, willelmvs re+, rev. wevtere hv, short voided cross, four stars of six points in angles, 1.36g/12h (Jones & Sugden dies 3-D; SCBI 35, –; cf. B 29 and fig. 64, same dies; S 5029). Fine or nearly so, extremely rare £150-£200
