Scottish Medallions Awarded for Sports, Games and Pastimes, sheffield plate plaque, 160 x 130mm, obverse curling match in progress, seven figures involved, one about to deliver a "stone", flanked by "sweepers", trees in the background, all around a floral wreath, above: a silver banner with legend "cooks curling competition held at kandersted january 30th february 4th 1928” , below: a silver banner with legend "winners bridge of weir curling club j.j.barr.a.j.mcleod.j.f.ross.c.mcintosh (skip)”, all affixed on an oak shield, 247 x 188mm for display, Sheffield plate 160 x 130mm and silver.Very fine, rare (£150-200)
