Sidney John Wilcox attested for the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 8 September 1914. He later served with 53rd (Young Soldiers) Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment and was re-numbered 6197 and 64907.
Sold with an empty Princess Mary 1914 Christmas Tin; and a Sherwood Foresters coloured silk cigarette card.
