Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series O, type 40, standing figure in square tunic, holding long cross and circular shield (?), rev. beast left, head reverted, 0.62g/1h (SCBI Abramson –; SCBI BM –; Abramson –; N –; S 807B). Struck from very base metal and possibly imitative in nature, about fine; the obverse type seemingly unrecorded and unusual £30-£40
