A late 17th century gold posy ring, circa 1680-1700, the broad convex band with plain exterior, the interior inscribed ‘Feare god love me’ in spaced italics script, band width 6mm, ring size O. £600-£800

This ring was discovered by a metal detectorist in Somerset in 2022. It has been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database, ref: SOM-752CD5, and disclaimed as Treasure, ref: 2022-T231.
