Old Cumnock, Ayrshire, 33mm by 30mm, in silver and enamels, hallmarks for Birmingham 1919, obverse with war memorial, rising sun and laurel, inscribed ‘Parish of Old Cumnock’, reverse inscribed ‘Presented to Pte. Andrew Goldie for services rendered during the Great War 1914-1919’, with double loop suspension; together with an identical medal, with differing reverse inscription ‘In grateful remembrance of Cpl. James Lennox who gave his life during the Great War 1914-19, nearly extremely fine (2) £80-100

Corporal James Lennox was born in Maybole, Ayrshire and enlisted at Cumnock, Ayrshire. He was killed in action France and Flanders 27 February 1916 whilst serving with the 7th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers.
