Christopher Henry Deighton was Gunner of Mosquito during the Egyptian war of 1882 (Medal and Khedive’s Star), and Chief Gunner of Monarch during the Boer War (Medal). He was promoted from Chief Gunner to Lieutenant on 1 April 1903 and retired on 1 September 1907.
