Mr Henry Carr, Examining Officer, H.M. Customs and Excise. On the 22nd January, 1877, during a strong SSW wind and rough seas he put off in a small boat and rescued at great risk the crew of six men from the fishing boat 'Morning Star of Wexford' which had stranded on Wexford Bar.
