Argentina, Opening of the Port of the River Plate to World Commerce, 1890, a plated bronze medal by Podesta, naval and cargo ships in the estuary, anchor, bullock and sheep on bank in foreground, rev. inscription, 56mm; Mexico, silver laudatory medals by Navalon and Ocampo (3), Maximillian, 1865, 28mm (2) and Maximillian and Charlotte, 1866, 32mm, revs. all depict the Virgin Mary [4].
