Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series N, type 41b, two men standing facing, long cross either side, pellet cross between, rev. monster right, looking back, crest behind with bead finial, tail raised, claws beneath, pellets in field, 1.00g/9h (SCBI Abramson 573, this coin; Abramson 52-35; N 98; S 806). Slight porosity, better than very fine, rare £300-£400
