M.I.D. not confirmed.

Served in France/Flanders, December 1916-May 1918. Serving on the Aisne he suffered gas poisoning on 26 May 1917. He was admitted to No.37 C.C.S. and then sent to No.8 General Hospital. He was invalided to England in May the following year and was sent to the Fazakerley Hospital, Liverpool for treatment. He was demobilized on 30 August 1919 and in 1920 resigned his commission on his departure to Canada. Sold with copied service papers.
