Christopher McLellan qualified for his first clasp for services in the 5th Battalion, Royal Light Infantry at Cornwall, Ontario from 3-16 June 1866, and for his second clasp for like services in the Grand Trunk Railway Artillery at St. John’s, New Brunswick from 24 May to 3 June 1870. His award was issued in June 1901 (relevant roll refers).
