Khedive’s Sudan 1896-1908, 2 clasps, The Atbara, Khartoum (3501 Pte. H. T. Goode, 1st Bn. Lincoln. Regt.) engraved naming, good very fine £100-140

Henry Thomas Goode was born in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire and attested for service in the Lincolnshire Regiment on 26 January 1893, aged 22 years, having previously served in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment. Overseas, he served in the Straits and Settlements, December 1893-April 1895; Malta, April 1895-February 1897; Egypt and the Sudan, February 1897-November 1898; India, November 1898-February 1902; South Africa, February-September 1902. He was discharged in January 1909. Sold with copied service papers.
