‘A.G.C.(S.P.S.)’ = ‘Adjutant General’s Corps (Staff and Personnel Support)’. The S.P.S. branch is the largest branch of the Adjutant General’s Corps, comprising some 4,500 officers and other ranks. It provides the Army with specialist personnel in the fields of human resources, business administration, finance, accounting, I.T., clerical and secretarial support.
