3133109 Fusilier John Docherty, 4/5th Royal Scots Fusiliers, died/was killed on 27 October 1944, aged 27 years. He was buried in the Bergen-op-Zoom War Cemetery. He was the son of Robert and Christina Docherty of Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire. Sold with condolence slip named in ink to ‘J. Docherty’ and medal card forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs C. Docherty, 14 Newark Street, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire’.
