Robert Mattinson was born in Tamworth, Staffordshire. He enlisted into the Imperial Yeomanry on 19 February 1901. Entering South Africa on 15 March 1901, and serving with the 60th (Belfast) Company, 17th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry; he died of Enteric Fever at Durban, South Africa, on 31 May 1901.

Harry Mattinson was born and lived in Tamworth and enlisted at Birmingham. Serving with the 1st Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps, he died of wounds on 19 May 1915. He was buried in the Chocques Military Cemetery, France. Both sold with copied research.
